Engineer the Future of Food Processing – Be Our Project Engineer

We are seeking an enthusiastic Project Engineer who works closely together with Sales Engineers, Layout Designers, Project Managers, and the Project Engineering team to translate the sales proposal into a technical solution, including specification and engineering drawings. The scope of support can vary from a small production system to a complete line.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of multiple projects or tasks, from kickoff to drawing handover, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Utilize your comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Marel Poultry machines, systems, and engineering activities to proficiently create specifications and engineering drawings, and develop and maintain ways of working documents.
  • Ensure the delivery of all engineering drawings and specifications, with significant emphasis on precision, comprehensiveness, and attention to detail.
  • Effectively coordinate and assist in identifying and resolving issues, demonstrating the capability to independently address potential problems.
  • Engage with colleagues to address inaccuracies in drawings, proactively question quality-related input, and initiate corrective measures in cases of substandard quality levels.

What Kind of Person Are You?

  • Technical degree in a relevant field or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of layout engineering applications.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Dutch, both written and verbal – preferred.
  • Excel at working within multicultural and multidisciplinary organizations.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, analytical, and quality-focused.
  • Proactive approach to improving system solutions and work processes.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations.
