As Senior Web Analyst within our Global Digital department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we use data to improve the customer journey, conversion performance, and digital experience across MediaMarkt in all markets. Your work will directly support our mission to deliver a seamless, customer-centric, and high-converting digital experience at scale.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Analyze website behavior, conversion flows, and friction points using GA4, SST, and experience analytics tools.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for Product, UX, CRM, and Digital Sales teams.
  • Evaluate and enhance tracking accuracy, event coverage, and tagging consistency across markets.
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI and Looker Studio to visualize key KPIs and A/B test results.
  • Partner with product teams using Optimizely and Contentsquare to design and evaluate experiments.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics and local teams to establish a scalable, consistent measurement framework.
  • Act as a senior analytics partner — coaching junior analysts, aligning KPIs, and fostering data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up to date on digital analytics trends to continuously improve tools and methodologies.

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in web or digital product analytics, ideally in a large-scale e-commerce or omnichannel setting.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, GA4, Looker Studio, Contentsquare and Optimizely.
  • Strong familiarity with working from SST data and integrating behavioral signals across tools.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce funnels, CX journeys, and digital business models.
  • Ability to investigate tracking quality, articulate gaps, and work cross-functionally to improve data completeness.
  • Comfortable communicating complex data to non-technical audiences with clear business impact.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus; strong English communication skills required.
