About the Company
OMA is an international architecture and urbanism practice founded in 1975. With offices in Rotterdam, New York, Hong Kong, and Australia, the practice is led by seven partners: Rem Koolhaas, Reinier de Graaf, Iyad Alsaka, Shohei Shigematsu (NY), Jason Long (NY), David Gianotten, and Chris van Duijn. Over the past four decades, OMA has produced a broad portfolio of projects, employing a team of more than 200 architects, designers, and researchers with a diverse range of experience and expertise. AMO, a research and design studio, often works in parallel with OMA’s clients, enriching architecture with intelligence drawn from a wide range of other disciplines.
About the Role
OMA’s Rotterdam office is looking for a Junior Project Controller to join the Finance department and report directly to the Finance Director/CFO. The Finance department is responsible for the accounting of all offices and branch offices globally, as well as the financial project management of all OMA projects worldwide, which is handled from the Rotterdam office.
The working language in the Finance department is Dutch, while English is used throughout the company. Candidates must feel comfortable working in an international environment.
The ideal candidate should preferably be experienced in all aspects of financial accounting. OMA is currently undergoing a transformation to a new ERP software, which involves reassessing current processes and reports. Candidates with an affinity for or knowledge of such transformations, as well as ERP software in general, are encouraged to apply.
