We are looking for a Reporting Specialist with a passion for building meaningful reports to support decision-making. This role is global in scope and focuses on transforming business needs into actionable insights by analyzing data, integrating it from multiple sources, and automating reporting workflows. You will support the end-to-end operational performance of teams across the globe and assist leadership with identifying performance drivers.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the automation of reporting workflows by integrating data from multiple platforms into centralized SQL databases using Python scripts.
  • Respond swiftly to business requests by crafting complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze operational data on demand.
  • Design and maintain robust data pipelines that ensure reliable and timely delivery of insights across business units.
  • Consolidate data from diverse systems (e.g., subscription platforms, case management tools) into unified reporting structures.
  • Support dashboard development by preparing clean, query-optimized datasets for visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, performance issues, and logic errors in SQL scripts and Python workflows.
  • Identify manual reporting tasks and proactively replace them with automated solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with business leads to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Maintain clear documentation of queries, scripts, and data flows to support team learning and operational continuity.
  • Keep up with evolving best practices in data engineering, SQL optimization, and Python automation to enhance team capabilities.
  • Support business metrics reviews and hold parties accountable for execution, quality, and performance.
  • Train and develop key reporting staff to hand over standardized reporting and knowledge to review/understand and draw data-driven conclusions.

Experience and Qualifications

Required:

  • 1+ year of proven experience in Finance Operations, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in reporting, analyzing, and validating large volumes of data from different systems and sources.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
  • Proficient communication skills with the ability to present data and insights to different levels within the organization.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to see the "big picture" while also diving into details.
  • Proactive and organized, with an ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a multi-cultural, global team environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikSense.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
  • Experience sharing knowledge or training others to enable self-service analytics.
  • Experience working in the travel or technology industry.
