The Nutritionist is a critical business partner supporting innovation, development, substantiation, and communication of our consumer dairy food products around the world. In this role the Nutritionist leverages expertise in nutrition to ensure our products meet the highest standards of nutritional quality, are differentiating from competition, while adhering to global regulatory guidelines. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Public Affairs, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs, the Nutritionist translates scientific evidence into recipe development, nutrition value propositions and marketing materials.

At FrieslandCampina, we’re seeking a Nutritionist. The Nutritionist is an energetic, meticulous, and proactive member of the R&D Nutrition team. With a background in Nutrition, you unlock and translate nutrition knowledge for innovation, product development/renovation and marketing. Drawing on your experience, expertise and enthusiasm, you will help to translate consumer needs into dairy products for Africa and Middle East to ensure commercial success. What we ask

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field
  • You have knowledge of scientific literature, research and regulatory guidelines.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a global food enterprise, either within a R&D and/or commercial role and preferably have an understanding of markets in Middle East and Africa.
  • You take ownership, act decisively, and are always looking for opportunities to improve and learn.
  • You have a broad perspective and can connect your work to our purpose: Nourishing by Nature.
  • You bring strong collaboration and communication skills, and enjoy being creative to solve challenges.

Team Details

You will work in the R&D Nutrition team. This team consists of 30 members, of which a part is based in Wageningen, a part in Singapore, and a part in China. The R&D Nutrition team works together with other Research teams, Product Development teams and Marketing teams to study health effects and thereby substantiate our products and support communication.
