About this role

The Global Loyalty Senior Team Lead is responsible for driving the growth and success of JET's core loyalty programmes, JET+ (subscription) and Stamp Cards (savings). This pivotal role collaborates closely with Global Product and Commercial teams to continuously enhance the value proposition and overall strategy of these programmes. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in loyalty and subscription models, demonstrating a proven ability to drive significant incremental growth and profitability within this space. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, robust analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and a data-driven decision-making approach. This leader will inspire and guide a team of experienced specialists to achieve ambitious loyalty objectives.

This is a new, strategically important role within the Customer Engagement & Loyalty department, residing within the Loyalty & Activation pillar. The role has been created to centralize focus and accelerate the growth of the JET+ and Stamp Card programmes. This dedicated leadership will streamline loyalty and customer activation activities, ensuring a cohesive and impactful approach to building long-term customer relationships and driving business.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Work closely with the Global Customer Intelligence team to define a data-driven growth strategy for JET loyalty programmes.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy and playbook for JET+ and work alongside the local marketing teams for best-in-class go-to-market results.
  • Define the optimal customer growth strategy based on programme objectives, including executing marketing activation and acquisition strategies to achieve penetration and financial targets across customer segments.
  • Manage a team of 2 highly experienced lead specialists.
  • Work alongside the Commercial Center of Excellence and Global Partnerships Program Lead to deliver on commercial and partnership agreements and objectives.
  • Collaborate across Commercial JET+ Center of Excellence, Product Loyalty, and Customer Intelligence and Insights teams to enhance the proposition and long-term strategy.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to identify and evaluate new opportunities for the programme, ensuring loyalty initiatives are aligned with user needs and contribute to increased customer lifetime value.
  • Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including P&T, Commercial JET+ CoE, Marketing, Central Sales Strategy & Operations, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of loyalty initiatives.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Extensive experience with loyalty and/or subscription programmes in a central, strategic role within e-commerce or retail.
  • Proven track record of building and executing effective, data- and customer insights-driven strategies that deliver against ambitious objectives.
  • Significant experience in developing and implementing successful go-to-market strategies and 360 marketing plans.
  • Strong critical thinking, strategic planning, and compelling storytelling abilities to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong analytical background, both academic and professional, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Effective team player with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and thrive in a matrixed and fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding and inspiring team management skills, with experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently present and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
