About this role

As the Product Owner for Growth Marketing Tech Automation, you will lead the development of our global automated ecosystem, powering marketing campaigns across SEO, SEA, Display, Social, Google Food Ordering, Apple Maps, and more.

Automation is a key strategic enabler for our business, allowing us to manage our immense volume of partners and campaigns with precision and efficiency. You will be responsible for the end-to-end automation workflow for our most strategic marketing products, designing and delivering complete, full-suite solutions.

This role requires a highly structured, organised, and excellent stakeholder manager. You are the strategic orchestrator who translates complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and manages the plan, roadmap, and timelines for our tech teams. You will ensure the automation solutions we build are scalable and cohesive across the entire Growth Marketing technology stack.

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • You own the product development for the full campaign lifecycle. This includes designing and implementing automated logic that ensures high-volume campaign deployment, improvements, and optimisation with minimal manual intervention.
  • You are responsible for the seamless functioning of the marketing tech stack. You will coordinate closely with other Product Owners to ensure your core automation pipelines and deployment systems seamlessly ingest their data and models, creating one cohesive campaign product.
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap and strategy, including defining product goals, priorities, and KPIs. You translate complex commercial demands into clear project plans, roadmaps, and timelines.
  • Excel at digesting large amounts of information and translating complex business and data needs into concise, prioritised technical user stories that effectively guide your engineering team.
  • Communicate the roadmap and delivery progress clearly to all stakeholders. Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing/Commercial teams and the Engineering teams.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Proven ability to structure complex, high-volume projects, maintain organisation, and deliver clear roadmaps and timelines.
  • Strong understanding of Growth Marketing and its operational needs, specifically the principles of full campaign automation, workflow design, and data utilisation at scale.
  • Ability to digest large amounts of information and translate complex and abstract systems to your team & stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Solid understanding of how data flows with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) and their systems. You understand technical architectures (e.g., APIs, data concepts) well enough to validate feasibility and drive solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment. A proactive approach to identifying and solving inefficiencies by designing automated workflows.
