Your Mission

As IGA Domain Architect, your mission is to define and guide the evolution of our identity and access management architecture. Working closely with the IGA Product Owner, business stakeholders, and Enterprise Architecture teams, you’ll translate strategic objectives into robust, future-proof IGA designs. You will be responsible for aligning SailPoint, Entra ID and privilege access management systems to IKEA’s broader platform goals and transformation initiatives. You’ll also play a key role in developing the transition roadmap that enables more applications and services to adopt modern identity governance patterns.

What You’ll Do

• Define and maintain the target architecture for IGA services at IKEA, with a primary focus on SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID, and supporting components (AD, Entra ID Connect).
• Collaborate with business and digital teams to understand identity requirements, compliance needs, and application modernization goals.
• Design onboarding and integration patterns that allow new and existing applications to consume IGA services in a scalable, secure, and consistent way.
• Identify ways to automate and simplify onboarding processes using DevOps principles.
• Support strategic transformation initiatives by designing identity architecture that enables system decoupling, modernization, and cloud migration.
• Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture function to ensure alignment with IKEA’s reference architecture and security principles.
• Provide architectural guidance to the IGA implementation team, ensuring technical consistency across domains.
• Document current and target states, create transition plans, and support governance activities related to identity architecture decisions.

What Makes You a Fit

• Proven experience designing architectures for IGA platforms, ideally including SailPoint or other enterprise-grade platforms like Saviynt or One Identity.
• Understanding of how to apply identity governance principles in large, federated environments with hybrid (on-prem and cloud) landscapes.
• Skilled at translating business needs and risk requirements into actionable architecture and integration patterns.
• Comfortable working with enterprise architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders, and able to balance priorities between them.
• Experienced in designing for transformation—supporting application modernization, cloud adoption, and system decoupling.
• Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD), SCIM, role-based access control (RBAC), and attribute-based access control (ABAC) is a plus.
• Structured, strategic, and passionate about creating scalable identity solutions that enable rather than block progress.
