Shape the Future of Healthcare Innovation at Nedap

At Nedap Healthcare, we believe technology can empower healthcare professionals to provide better care. As a Business Developer Healthcare, you will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare innovation. You’ll be responsible for identifying and validating new opportunities, developing compelling propositions, and strengthening Nedap’s market position.

Working at the intersection of healthcare and technology, you will bring new products and services to market—think AI-driven solutions and other innovations that help care providers focus on what matters most: their patients. You’ll work closely with potential customers, industry stakeholders, and internal teams to make these innovations a reality.

In this role you:

  • Get the chance to accelerate healthcare innovation and make a real impact;
  • Create a stronger market position for Nedap through successful market introductions;
  • Increase customer satisfaction by delivering solutions that meet the real needs of the healthcare sector;
  • Achieve long-term growth opportunities by building sustainable customer relationships and tapping into new markets.

Your responsibilities

  • Market analysis: Spot and analyze new opportunities in the healthcare market;
  • Value proposition development: Develop strong value propositions for existing and new healthcare segments;
  • Business model innovation: Design innovative business models (including risk and value analysis) and present them to stakeholders;
  • Market research: Conduct market research and facilitate co-creation sessions to identify fresh ideas and opportunities;
  • Proposition validation: Lead validation processes for new propositions, ensuring commercial feasibility;
  • Business case development: Translate concepts into actionable business cases, considering technical, financial, and operational impact;
  • Prototyping: Oversee prototype development, test solutions with customers, and integrate feedback;
  • Go-to-market strategy: Support successful go-to-market launches and monitor early performance;
  • Market expansion: Build and expand propositions in new markets and with new customers, even in complex environments;
  • Customer acquisition: Acquire launching customers and nurture strong relationships in the (pre-)launch phase.

Your team

As a Business Developer you’ll be part of our Commercial Team, working alongside Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solution Experts. Together, we aim to create proud customers who use our products fully and independently. We help healthcare organizations realize value and work closely with product development to continuously improve our solutions.

Our offer

As a Business Developer at Nedap, you make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. We offer a salary above market average based on your background and experience. Additionally, you are entitled to a thirteenth month, a good pension scheme, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a shareholder of Nedap. Everything we do revolves around trust and autonomy. That's why you determine your own working hours and vacation days. We also place great value on personal and professional growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction, and we encourage you to continually develop yourself.

Required experience and skills

You're a driven Business Developer who wants to help organizations succeed with our solutions—and build lasting relationships to do so.

  • Academic qualification: A bachelor’s or master’s degree;
  • Business development experience: Proven experience in business development, innovation, and/or commercial strategy—preferably in health tech or SaaS;
  • Strategic analysis: Strong background in building business cases, conducting market research, and validating value propositions;
  • Proposition scaling: A track record of successfully developing and scaling propositions;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Analytical and conceptual strength, paired with entrepreneurial drive and a results-oriented mindset;
  • Stakeholder communication: Excellent communication skills—you know how to convince stakeholders and build lasting relationships;
  • Commercial drive: Motivation and commercial drive to monetize solutions;
  • Agile collaboration: A collaborative and persistent personality, with the ability to switch seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution;
  • Regulatory knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as the AI Act, MDR, or GDPR is a plus;
  • Language proficiency: Fluency in Dutch and English.

Good to know: this is a 32 to 38-hour position. Hybrid (remote) working is standard at Nedap, and you coordinate your working hours with your team for a healthy work-life balance.
