Are you passionate about combining financial analysis with strategic decision-making? Join our international Value Management and Governance Team, where you will play a key role in shaping Vattenfall’s long-term commercial success.
In this role, you will develop and maintain advanced economic valuation models that support senior management in making sound investment decisions. You will work in multidisciplinary deal teams — alongside tender managers, account managers, technical experts, marketeers, lawyers, and other specialists — to quantify and challenge business cases based on robust methodologies and Vattenfall Group standards. Your goal: to ensure transparency, consistency, and high-quality insights across projects, time, and markets.
You will also challenge and validate assumptions provided by sales and development teams, ensuring that our financial models reflect realistic and strategic scenarios. Key metrics in your work include NPV, VIR, and IRR, and you’ll contribute to the gradual introduction of real options theory, supporting more dynamic optimization of our infrastructure rollout and asset utilization.
Beyond project valuation, your analyses will support business planning and Post-Investment Reviews, as well as M&A initiatives. You will also develop standard tools for recurring deal types and manage our standard assumptions book. Collaboration is key — you’ll work closely with other experts, including our Pricing Manager, Controllers, and Auditors.
We prefer you to be based in one of our offices in Berlin, Stockholm, or Amsterdam, and offer flexible work-from-home options. Occasional travel can be expected as part of our international collaboration.

What we offer
We offer a challenging and international work environment and the possibility to work with some of the best in the field.
