About this role

As our Global Process Owner (GPO) for Order to Cash (O2C), you will hold a pivotal leadership position within our Global Finance Operations team. This is not just a process management role; you are the single point of accountability for the performance, governance, and strategic evolution of our entire O2C cycle globally. Reporting to the Director of Global Finance Operations, you will be tasked with a dual mandate:

  • Commanding the Present: Lead a multi-locational team of approximately 35 FTEs, ensuring the flawless day-to-day execution of billing, credit management, cash application, and collections across all business lines, including our core restaurant partnerships and emerging JET Pay services.
  • Architecting the Future: Define and drive a multi-year transformation roadmap for O2C, embedding best-in-class processes, leveraging automation, and ensuring our operations can scale with the pace of our business.

Success in this role requires a rare blend of operational rigour, strategic foresight, and the exceptional ability to influence stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and the wider business to deliver impactful, lasting change.

These are some of the key components to the position:

  1. Strategic Ownership & Transformation:
    • Architect and execute the global O2C vision and strategic roadmap, aligning with group objectives to drive efficiency, scalability, and control.
    • Lead transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation (RPA, AI), system enhancements (Workday), and process re-engineering to build a best-in-class function.
    • Serve as the primary business partner to Product & Tech teams, translating operational needs into technical requirements and ensuring successful project delivery.
  2. Operational Excellence & Team Leadership:
    • Provide decisive leadership to the global O2C operations teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop and monitor a robust set of KPIs, using data-driven insights to manage performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
    • Lead, mentor, and empower your Team Leads, building a world-class team that embodies our values of 'lead, deliver, and care'.
  3. Governance, Risk & Influence:
    • Establish and enforce a global governance framework, ensuring ironclad internal controls, SOX compliance, and adherence to IFRS and global tax regulations.
    • Masterfully navigate and influence a complex stakeholder landscape, securing buy-in and driving process adoption across Sales, Operations, and Senior Leadership.
    • Act as the ultimate authority on O2C processes, providing expert guidance and ensuring financial integrity from order entry to revenue recognition.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field, or comparable work experience.
  • Proven experience in Finance Operations or Order to Cash leadership.
  • Deep expertise in the O2C lifecycle, including billing, collections, cash application, credit management, and revenue recognition.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition (IFRS 15), VAT compliance, and global tax reporting requirements (including e-invoicing mandates).
  • Proven leadership experience managing large, multicultural finance operations teams (approximately 35 FTEs).
  • Experience in process design, process mapping, improving process quality using best practices, process review, and process compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in driving finance process standardization, optimization, automation, and data governance initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams (Finance, Sales, Tech, Legal, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (Workday Finance preferred), billing systems, and financial reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau is a plus).
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities; comfortable operating at operational, tactical, and strategic levels.
  • Takes initiative and identifies issues with a solutions-oriented approach, a strong ability to overcome challenges, and high-level confidence in decision-making ability.
  • Growth mindset, proactive attitude, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal).
