Introduction
Our team, the Cleanliness of Parts, is part of the Defectivity Department. We support the ASML organization, suppliers, and cleaning service providers to design, manufacture, assemble, clean, and verify mono-parts, modules, and systems that fulfill the cleanliness specifications to meet our customer requirements. For this reason, we develop various measurement and cleaning techniques for qualification of parts' cleanliness.
Your Assignment
This internship is about understanding particle contamination behavior on parts' surfaces, conducting SEM-EDX analysis, and learning how to handle the data generated in order to perform statistical analyses. As an intern, you will have ownership of the methodology and related documentation, enabling you to implement the knowledge gained into contamination measurements performed at ASML and within our factory and supply chain. You will also have the opportunity to work in our cleanroom and participate in trainings. Your main tasks will be:
