Join Kraton’s Close-Knit HR Team

At Kraton, we don’t just come to work — we come to make a Positive Difference. For our customers, for the world, and most importantly, for each other. We’re looking for a new colleague to join our close-knit HR team in Almere. We’re a team that believes in open and honest communication, mutual respect, and helping each other grow.

In this role, you’ll be part of our European HR team and the Global Total Rewards team, supporting colleagues and managers across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, the UK, and Italy. Every day will bring variety, challenges, and the chance to make a real impact on people’s working lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the “front door” of HR: partner with employees, managers, and teams to provide support and guidance.
  • Help us find and welcome great talent: post jobs, source candidates, schedule interviews, support offers, and ensure onboarding feels smooth and personal.
  • Play a central role in European Benefits:
    • Manage vendors and ensure compliance
    • Review and improve benefits programs to keep them competitive and effective
    • Oversee pensions, anniversary/service awards, and employee benefits communications
  • Provide administrative support for HR activities and Corporate Communications.
  • Support the Total Rewards team with compensation processes and reporting.
  • Contribute to HR improvement projects where your ideas can really make a difference.
  • Prepare reports and data insights to support decision-making.

Required Skills

  • 2–5 years of HR experience (or similar) with a solid understanding of HR fundamentals.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (a plus) and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills — you’re approachable, clear, and professional.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch and/or German is a big advantage.
  • Available for 32 - 40 hours a week.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR (or related field).

What We Offer

  • A chance to make a real positive difference in the industry.
  • A supportive work environment that values teamwork and collaboration.
  • Continuous learning and development opportunities to grow your skills.
  • A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Be part of a close HR team that values respect, honesty, and open communication.
