Regulatory Analyst

As a Regulatory Analyst, you’ll play a central role in helping us meet our financial regulatory obligations while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech environment. This role is ideal for someone with a legal background who wants to build deep expertise in payments and financial regulation by working closely with senior counsels and stakeholders across multiple functions.

You don’t need to be a financial regulatory expert to get started: we’ll support you with the tools and mentorship you need. What’s important is that you have a strong foundation in legal analysis, and a willingness to learn and grow into the role.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the coordination of critical regulatory workflows, including regulatory change management, and regulatory functional sessions, ensuring smooth execution and follow-up.
• Conduct regulatory analysis and regulatory risk assessments under the guidance of senior regulatory counsels;
• Monitor relevant regulatory developments across the EMEA region, analyze their impact, and help translate them into actionable insights.
• Improve and streamline the processes you manage, driving efficiency and better outcomes across all regulatory activities.
• Support internal teams and regulatory counsels to ensure that regulatory commitments and obligations are met efficiently and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations across the EMEA region.
• Support in regulatory interactions, including engagements, inspections, audits, or queries, as needed.

Who You Are

• You are a legal professional with 2 years of experience in financial services, fintech, law firms, regulatory bodies, or in-house legal teams, ideally with exposure to financial regulated services or other regulated clients.
• You are familiar with financial regulations and compliance requirements in the Netherlands, EEA, and UK.
• You are confident in your understanding of regulatory processes within a financial institution and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
• You are eager to learn and develop in a fast-paced, regulated fintech environment.
• You are analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to conduct thorough, independent legal research.
• You are a collaborative team player, comfortable working across functions and coordinating in an international environment.
• You are proactive and solutions-focused, always looking for ways to improve processes and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• You are professionally fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
