About the role

As part of the Logistics Europe team, this role is responsible for the procurement strategy of Road Freight Distribution for several countries in the EU ANZ region. The size of responsibility over certain markets, suppliers, and spend depends on the competence and current experience of the candidate. Main responsibilities include the development and execution of category, sourcing, and supplier management strategies to achieve competitive advantage through lowest purchase cost and value improvements, as well as best in class service, meeting requirements of internal stakeholders and Reckitt’s customers.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute the optimal strategy that delivers business objectives.
• Deliver results in key performance areas: cost management, financial forecast, NWC, service and quality, process improvements and innovation.
• Have full financial accountability for the category: Plan, Forecast, PPV, NWC, prices compliance.
• Support innovation implementations in the category while securing a resilient supply chain.
• Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships.
• Develop best in class on-time delivery service strategy aligned with key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement sustainability strategy in collaboration with Sustainability group.
• Ensure proper relationship with internal stakeholders.

The experience we're looking for

• Degree qualification in business, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, finance, or other relevant discipline.
• 6 months – 1 year of Procurement experience.
• Ability to travel within Europe.
• Fluent oral and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Positive mindset.
