About the Team

DoorDash’s mission is to grow and empower local economies. By building intelligent, last-mile delivery technology for local cities, DoorDash connects people with the local businesses they care about — helping grow businesses and the communities that support those businesses.

The Experiential & In-Store Marketing team is focused on building powerful, lasting relationships with our customers and prospects through meaningful, on-the-ground brand experiences. We take a 360° approach to experiential hospitality — creating brand awareness and credibility through strategic partnerships, accelerating pipeline with dimensional activations and deepening loyalty among our customer base.

About the Role

We’re looking for a field marketing rockstar to take the lead in the central U.S.! You’ll be a part of the growth marketing team and play a key role in executing high-impact regional programs that drive brand awareness, engagement, and pipeline in our priority markets. As the local marketer for Dallas, Houston & Chicago, you’ll support end-to-end event logistics for curated experiences, trade shows, and partner activations—managing vendors, timelines, and on-site execution. You’ll work closely with Sales, Growth Marketing, Partnerships, and Brand to localize our global go-to-market strategy and make it resonate in-market. This includes executing account-based plays, customizing outreach materials, delivering field kits, tracking campaign impact, and activating the brand through local hospitality partnerships and customer advocacy.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build and execute integrated, city-level marketing plans that combine content marketing, events, ABM campaigns, brand activations, and community initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales to align on top regional accounts and execute account-based plays that fuel pipeline creation and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Own end-to-end execution of marketing initiatives—from creative development and vendor management to onsite logistics and post-campaign reporting.
  • Lead planning, logistics, and execution of field events, including SevenRooms-hosted dinners, industry conferences, partner activations, and trade shows.
  • Deliver hospitality-forward experiences that reflect the culture, rhythm, and pulse of target cities
  • Manage event budgets and measure performance, ensuring every activation drives business impact.
  • Identify local customer champions in partnership with Success and Sales; activate them through testimonials, case studies, events, and speaking opportunities.
  • Drive regional attendance and excitement around flagship customer events (e.g., Shift by SevenRooms).
  • Cultivate local relationships with hospitality associations, tech groups, marketing communities, and brand partners to deepen SevenRooms’ presence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align local campaigns with global brand initiatives and partner co-marketing efforts.
  • Track KPIs including MQLs, pipeline influenced, event ROI, and brand reach; use data to optimize future campaigns and report results to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the voice of the field—sharing local trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights back into central teams.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 5+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, experiential marketing, or integrated campaign execution—preferably in SaaS, hospitality tech, or multi-location businesses.
  • You have strong strategic sensibility combined with tactical executional chops—you can architect a plan and own the details.
  • You are a natural community builder with a deep understanding of the hospitality landscape, cultural trends, and regional quirks.
  • You have a self-starter mentality with a love of experimentation, curiosity for learning, and desire to make an impact.
  • You pride yourself on being an excellent communicator and collaborator, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable with marketing technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach) and driven by data and ROI.
  • You’re willing to travel up to 30–35% of the time for regional activations and team collaboration.
