About this role

Please note that this position is located in Enschede (3 days a week at our Enschede office and 2 days working from home)

As our .NET Software Engineer in Fintech, you’ll play a vital part in our Fintech Services team, working with world-class engineers responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that help us fulfill our mission. You’ll be working on our service, public APIs, internal core processes and logic, integrations between our platform and systems, and much more.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Develop scalable and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, QEs, and developers to enhance products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure system reliability.
• Document technical decisions and architectural strategies.
• Work closely with QE and Support teams to improve product quality.
• Conduct code reviews, write tests, and optimize application performance.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices.

What will you bring to the table?

• Strong experience in software development with .NET, while being open to other technologies (PHP, Java, Node, etc.).
• Proficiency in backend development with C# and familiarity with frontend frameworks like Vue.js.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL or DynamoDB.
• Solid understanding of Git for version control and Docker for containerized environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team while working independently.
