Strategic Project Buyer

About the Role

As a Strategic Project Buyer, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities for key projects, ensuring the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, and suppliers to support the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned projects.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain and procurement.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with project goals and timelines.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
