The Master Data team in GSC supports multiple business units and locations, working with all finance GSC Teams. The team is responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements and customer expectations, improving operational effectiveness and efficiency, resolving problems, and developing team performance.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Constant learning of the processes using the most up-to-date manuals and daily processing of requests under the guidance of a Master Data Analyst
  • Supporting the process of Supplier creations/updates:
    • Creation of suppliers
    • Updating suppliers based on invoices
    • Contacting suppliers via email and phone to confirm bank details
  • Updating data in our financial system according to company policy
  • Performing all activities in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs
  • Seeking opportunities for process improvements and applying improvements
  • Handling customer requests and queries
  • Communicating with internal and external customers efficiently and effectively
  • Ensuring that all relevant company standards and guidelines are met
  • Assisting with other daily tasks assigned by the Team Leader

About you

  • Very good English skills required; other languages are a strong asset
  • University degree (preferably in accounting) or students/graduates able to work full time
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with customers (customer focus, expectations management skills)
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills: teamwork, patience, ability to work well in a fast-paced and changing environment, can-do attitude, diplomacy, discretion
  • Ability to work in an international, diversified professional environment
  • Willingness to learn new systems and tools supporting daily work
  • Familiarity with MS Office
