Home of our Product Development is the Products & Engineering Department, which consists of 15 cross-functional Product Teams across 3 Product Domains (Consumer, Business and Platform), working in an agile environment.

Join our Core Team as a (Senior) Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack with a Backend focus and help connect our Platform, Businesses, and Consumers! In this role, you’ll create and maintain the shared and foundational functionalities that allow our Stakeholders to smoothly operate our Platform and develop unified experiences in a multi-domain environment.

Your Key Responsibilities as a (Senior) Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack/Backend:

• Work closely within a cross-functional Product Team of Product Manager (f/m/d), Agile Coach (f/m/d), Software Engineers (f/m/d), Cloud Engineers (f/m/d), and QA Engineers (f/m/d) to develop and enhance core Services in the eTrusted Platform
• Utilize TypeScript and Java in an event-driven Microservices Architecture hosted on AWS to drive Platform evolution
• Bring full-stack expertise: create custom backend APIs, enhance and deliver impactful data visualizations for Customers
• Own your code from development through deployment, fully embracing a “You build it, you own it” mindset

A Typical Day as a (Senior) Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack/Backend at Trusted Shops:

• Start your day by setting up your remote workspace or adjusting your desk at the office
• Check your personalized task manager to review projects, balancing short-term tasks with progress on larger Epics
• Join the team standup to sync up on the sprint backlog or Kanban board, setting priorities and collaborating on shared goals
• Focus on sprint stories, tasks, or bug fixes—working solo or teaming up with pair or mob programming as needed

Your profile

• Extensive experience in Backend (primarily) and Frontend Development, with strong skills in TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot; as well as React and CSS
• Proficient in working with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and foundational SQL database skills
• Skilled in Cloud Deployment and Management, including AWS Lambdas and orchestrating Web Apps in Container environments like AWS ECS
• In-depth knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, including compute workloads, networking, and storage operations
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, and a commitment to clean, high-performance code with thorough testing
• Several years of hands-on Fullstack Engineering experience with a collaborative and respectful approach to Teamwork
• Strong English communication skills; additional language skills are a bonus
