We are in business to save our home planet. Your role will contribute to this mission by working in close partnership with the European Marketing Team to develop regional marketing assets. As the Marketplace Experience Designer, you will be responsible for bringing to life Patagonia’s brand and marketing campaigns in Points of Sale, Events and Trade Shows for the European market, whilst ensuring respect of our global brand guidelines.

Your role:

We are in business to save our home planet. Your role will contribute to this purpose by managing and elevating the EMEA digital site experience with the aim to deliver against brand awareness and revenue goals through customer engagement, conversion, and retention.

Main tasks:

  • Design marketing and brand assets for retail, wholesale, events and trade shows, in collaboration with the leading Marketplace designer.
  • Localize assets received from Global Headquarter (US) for European needs.
  • Carry out print production projects from initiation to DTP creation.
  • Coordinate selected projects through external resources.
  • Provide guidelines and advice, internally and externally, to ensure brand consistency across various marketplace touchpoints in the European countries and markets.
  • Guarantee the respect of global guidelines and the highest quality of execution.
  • Stay up to date on current marketplace experience trends and materials innovations.

What we’re looking for:

  • An inclusive mindset.
  • Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in graphic design.
  • Superior Adobe creative suite proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Excellent 3D design knowledge (SketchUp or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Well organized; can multi-task multiple initiatives simultaneously; deadline-oriented.
  • Ability to bring creative ideas to the table. Collaborator/team player/willing to get involved to help the larger team.
  • High energy, self-starter.
  • Flexible; can anticipate and adapt to change.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and cross-cultural nuances.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • A love of the outdoors.
  • A passion for saving our home planet and making a positive impact through your work.

It’s a plus if you also have the following:

  • Knowledge of Figma.
  • International, especially European, professional experience.
  • Outdoor category experience.

Other important details:

  • This is a full-time position based in Amsterdam.
  • We have a hybrid work model, working from home for maximum 3 days per week.
