Join ASML as a Business Process Analyst – SAP Asset Management

ASML, a global leader in advanced technology, is seeking an accomplished Business Process Analyst specializing in SAP Asset Management. This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-oriented consultant with deep expertise in asset and configuration management within SAP environments. As a pivotal link between business and IT, you will help shape the future of digital asset management at ASML.

You will join the IT organization within the Agile Release Train (ART) for Digital Asset Management (DAM), focusing on the development of a unified repository for equipment data, supporting configuration registration and validation. This ART is part of the IT Operations Solution Delivery department, which delivers IT solutions for critical business sectors including sales, planning, sourcing, logistics, manufacturing, configuration management, and customer support.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Operate within a scaled agile framework (SAFe), supporting the DAM ART in delivering epics, features, and user stories.
  • Challenge business requirements, guiding stakeholders toward standard IT solutions—primarily SAP—in alignment with ASML’s target architecture and system roadmap.
  • Translate business needs into functional IT specifications, shape solution architectures, and support customization, testing, and key-user training.
  • Key focus areas include:
    • Equipment and equipment hierarchy
    • Equipment BoM (Bill of Materials)
    • Asset Management
    • Configuration Management
  • Maintain a software application roadmap aligned with business demand.
  • Analyze and document business requirements through diverse methods, ensuring alignment and fact-based change records (Functional Design, RICEF, Customization Requests).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in architectural co-design and conceptualization, leveraging data for innovative solutions.
  • Provide leadership in solution development, supporting business case creation and IT cost breakdown.
  • Independently conduct solution testing and resolve technical issues.
  • Define and implement complex control measures related to Information Security, Data Management, Business Continuity, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues to uphold best practices and high standards in solution development.

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent thinking and working level with comprehensive experience in IT applications development.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT applications engineering.
  • Background in discrete manufacturing and system integration.
  • Expertise in asset and configuration management within SAP environments (SAP ECC, SAP S4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP BNAC).
  • Familiarity with SAP’s Keep The Core Clean concept is considered a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience working in SAFe agile environments.
  • Proven technical leadership in application development projects.
