Your role:
We’re in business to save our home planet. Your role will contribute to our purpose by leading and mentoring the Data team, driving design and execution of the company’s data strategy, while ensuring data compliance and governance. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders to prioritize data initiatives that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Balancing technical expertise with strong leadership, you will align data solutions with business needs and regulatory requirements. Overseeing data engineering function, you will develop scalable data architectures capabilities effectively enabling data-driven decision making and insights.
Main tasks:
Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor the data team by fostering a collaborative, quality focused and a growth-orientated environment, while guiding their professional development to ensure an engaged and high-performing team.
Data Strategy and Roadmap: Develop, communicate, and execute data and analytics strategies (such as data architecture and data pipelines) and roadmaps that align with our organizational priorities, engaging stakeholders to ensure impactful, data-driven decision-making and cross-functional alignment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Management: Partner with cross-functional teams and global IT partners to implement data initiatives, optimizing performance and ensuring alignment, that drive the successful execution of data projects across EMEA.
Data Governance, Compliance, and Security: Ensure the implementation of data governance, security, and compliance policies in line with industry regulations such as GDPR, maintaining high-quality data management that protects assets and minimizes risk and in compliance to global standards.
Innovation and Operational Excellence: Cultivate a forward-thinking, data-driven culture that embraces innovation, continuous improvement, scalability, and resilience. Lead the strategic adoption of modern technologies and methodologies to strengthen the foundation for scalable data operations. Support data literacy across the organization through targeted education and training programs, empowering teams to confidently leverage data. Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining workflows and optimizing processes, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of data solutions that meet evolving business needs.
