Internship: Technical Accounting and Oversight (Non-thesis)

Your role:
In this role you are responsible for managing a dedicated departmental support process which has an indirect impact on Philips’ med-tech products (e.g. audit processes within Finance).

  • conducting research on relevant topics;
  • analyzing data to identify significant trends;
  • providing actionable recommendations for strategic direction;
  • participating in team meetings, offering innovative ideas and capturing detailed minutes;
  • preparing and presenting accurate reports for stakeholders;
  • organizing and maintaining departmental documentation, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance, and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are studying towards your Bachelor or Master in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related study.
  • You have strong analytical skills and have experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are able to work independently but also in a team.
  • You are curious and open to learn.

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300 net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255 net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) needs to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192 net.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.
