About this role

This is an incredibly exciting time to join our Global Finance Operations team at Just Eat Takeaway.com. We are actively seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior P2P Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our financial processes. This position is perfect for a visionary leader who is passionate about building and nurturing high-performing teams, optimizing complex finance systems and processes, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive significant improvements in efficiency and productivity across our global operations.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Strategic Leadership: You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously refining global P2P operational strategies that align with our overarching business objectives. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement and leading initiatives to achieve them.
  • Operational Excellence: You will be a champion for operational excellence, ensuring that best practices are embedded across all P2P processes. This will involve leveraging automation, championing digital transformation initiatives, and consistently striving for optimal performance.
  • Performance Management: You will diligently monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and rigorously ensure the consistent delivery on all service level agreements (SLAs), guaranteeing efficient and effective P2P operations.
  • Team Leadership & Development: You will lead and inspire a diverse, multi-functional team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth. This includes mentoring team members and cultivating a high-performance environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You will build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of P2P objectives with business needs.
  • Resource & Talent Management: You will effectively manage resources within the P2P operations, actively identifying and developing talent within your team to build future leadership capabilities.
  • Cost Consciousness: You will operate with a keen cost-conscious mindset, continually seeking ways to optimize expenditures, ensuring ongoing quality and efficiency of P2P processes.
  • Risk & Compliance: You will be responsible for implementing robust risk mitigation strategies and proactively managing all regulatory concerns related to P2P operations, ensuring full compliance and minimizing potential liabilities.
  • Technological Innovation: You will actively collaborate with IT and other relevant departments on the exploration and implementation of new technologies that can further enhance P2P efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance.
  • Governance & Audit: You will lead all audit preparedness activities for P2P and take full ownership of the P2P governance framework, ensuring transparency, accountability, and adherence to established protocols.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Extensive P2P Expertise: You will possess over 10 years of extensive and hands-on experience in P2P operations. This includes expert-level knowledge of end-to-end processes, a deep understanding of associated risks, and a proven track record in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management: You will demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and build consensus.
  • Global Leadership Experience: Strong leadership experience specifically in managing global P2P operations is crucial, showcasing your ability to navigate complex international environments.
  • Process Optimization Master: Expertise in process optimization and operational performance management is a must, with a proven ability to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
  • Finance Technology & Project Management Acumen: Experience with various finance technologies and a solid understanding of project management methodologies are highly valued, indicating your ability to drive technology-led improvements.
  • Strategic to Operational Translator: The ability to translate high-level strategic objectives into tangible, actionable operational excellence initiatives is key to success in this role.
  • Exceptional English Proficiency: Excellent English proficiency, both written and verbal, is required for effective communication in our global environment.
  • Dynamic & Forward-Thinking Mindset: We are looking for a candidate with a genuine "can-do" attitude – someone who is energetic, highly analytical, and consistently forward-thinking in their approach to challenges and opportunities.
