Ahold Delhaize is looking for a Director Transfer Pricing & Tax Technology with proven expertise in international transfer pricing, tax technology and strong leadership skills. In this role, you will ensure a consistent pricing policy across the group, oversee robust documentation of transactions, and clearly explain these to internal stakeholders such as operational departments as well as to external parties such as the local tax authorities. Your new work environment

As Director Transfer Pricing & tax Technology, you will be joining our Tax department. You will report to Gabriella van Lil, VP Tax Europe and you will have 1 direct report. In this role, you’ll work closely together with the rest of the European Tax Management Team, various internal Ahold Delhaize group departments (IT, Treasury, Legal), and with regional teams in our great local brands (Commerce, Procurement, Tax). You will be given the freedom and responsibility to take ownership of your work and broaden your horizons by working together with knowledgeable colleagues from different countries who have an abundance of expertise in many areas. Key responsibilities of your role

Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities:

• Group transfer pricing
  • Further developing and leading the group transfer pricing policy, vision and roadmap including pricing and documentation for the Group Finance and Group IP companies
  • Proactively identifying and managing transfer pricing risks by ensuring consistent application of transfer pricing practices and documentation for Group- and EU intercompany transactions
  • Taking care of all necessary transfer pricing compliance at Group- and EU level
  • Driving tax audit defense for both Group, EU and foreign entities and developing strategic defense options.

• Group Tax Technology
  • Responsibility for the development of group, EU and local BENELUX Tax Technology processes, policies, procedures, vision and roadmap and ensure correct and timely implementation
  • Managing tax technology related projects for the Ahold Delhaize group.
  • Analyzing the current processes and procedures, advising the European Tax Management Team on Tax Technology and realize synergies, develop and share best practices
  • Educating the Ahold Delhaize Tax Team in Tax Technology

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking tax professional who can set clear transfer pricing requirements and successfully engage with both operations and management, as well as local tax authorities. We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:

• A Master degree in Tax Law, or a related field with a specialization in Tax
• Combined with at least 8 years of experience in international tax, transfer pricing and tax technology
• In-depth knowledge of international Transfer Pricing and in depth experience with local tax authorities and TP audits and in depth knowledge of IT processes and specific tax technology solutions available on the market
• Combine strong analytical skills with solid communication and influence skills
• Are fluent in both Dutch and English
