The data involved is immense: our platform serves more than 13 million customers and over 46,000 trading partners. So, that is going to be your playground. What you’ll do as Data Analyst Advertising

In this role you interact with data using SQL, Python and Tableau, creating metrics, analysis, and predictions. Next, you interact with a range of stakeholders, from Leadership and Product teams to Sales and Operations. As you gain experience, you develop deep domain knowledge, which allows you to create a language around our data that clients at bol can easily understand and interpret. You then apply that language to deliver clear and engaging dashboards and presentations.

As Data Analyst Advertising you’re supporting the business to make better judgements. This means you’re always learning to improve your analysis techniques and KPI development. New methods? Right up your alley. Venturing into previously unexplored datasets? Just your cup of tea. In the end, it’s a team effort. Sharing what you’ve learned is valuable, since it’s our mission to make people perform through analytics.

  • No day is the same, but at the core of your activities are always SQL, Python and Tableau
  • You distill meaningful metrics, analysis, and predictions from data
  • The code that you write can be reused by colleagues and scales easily as data volumes increase
  • Working closely with our business stakeholders, you collect their requirements for our deliverables
  • You create effective, intuitive dashboards in Tableau for self-service analysis
  • You acquire extensive domain knowledge so you can develop, monitor, and safeguard the KPIs for Avb

Where you’ll work

You’ll join a group of more than 15 professionals at bol’s Advertising Analytics. This department supports all the drivers behind our retail media business: Product, Commercial, Operations, Strategy, and Finance. As we are an international team, we speak English at work. Since it was founded in 2021, we’ve shipped a vast amount of data solutions to internal clients. For example, dashboards, analyses, and tools. But we’ve also built a modern data stack on GCP, leveraging Git, Airflow, dbt, Tableau, and a variety of Python libraries. If this is your world, you’ll get to explore vast and exciting landscapes.
