Apprentice

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our team. As an intern in the Fleet Operations department, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various projects that support the optimization and management of the KLM fleet. You will assist the Director of Fleet Operations with a range of operational and strategic tasks. You’ll gain insight into everything related to KLM’s aircraft.

Flight handling, cargo and the supply chain of aircraft parts: discover the logistics-operations side of KLM, which is always on the move.

What will you do?

• Supporting the Director with ongoing projects and initiatives within the department.
• Carrying out operational tasks related to the KLM fleet.
• Providing ad hoc support with various tasks, depending on the department’s needs.

Where do you land?

KLM is the oldest airline in the world. Our department, Fleet Operations, is responsible for the operational aspects of the KLM fleet. This includes everything from specifications and strategic planning to daily operational tasks.

Your profile

• You are a university of applied sciences (HBO) or research university (WO) student with a study background in, for example, Aviation Technology, Business Administration, Logistics, or another relevant field.
• You have a proactive attitude and can work both independently and as part of a team.
• You are analytically strong and able to translate complex issues into practical solutions.
• You have good communication skills and are proficient in both Dutch and English.
• You are available for an internship of at least 4 months.
