Gen AI & Tech Consultant

What You'll Be Doing

As a Gen AI & New Tech Consultant, you will be pivotal in identifying groundbreaking technologies within Pon and translating and presenting them into concrete business applications. You'll be the point of contact for all our companies on new technologies, architecture, and Gen AI trends and solutions. Your expertise will not only help increase Pon's digital maturity but also the quality of the solutions developed within the hub.

Your tasks include:

• Developing a clear vision for new technologies and their relevance to Pon.
• Collaborating on a roadmap for experiments and prototyping in the field of Generative AI and other innovations.
• Conducting interviews and creating a roadmap with the Opco IT teams to realize their digital ambitions.
• Developing and delivering training to increase knowledge of new technologies within Pon.
• Executing tactical and operational assignments for the operating companies (opcos).
• Encouraging collaboration between hub teams and maintaining quality standards, including privacy and security guidelines.
• Acting as a liaison between Privacy & Security and the teams in the hub.
• Proactively promoting commercially relevant solutions within Pon.

We measure your success by customer satisfaction, collaboration with other teams, product stability and quality, the realization of the digital roadmap, and the quality of the training and workshops you design and deliver.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a Senior Gen AI & New Tech Consultant who is analytical, has extensive experience in backend development, and a deep affinity for new technologies, particularly Generative AI.

Your Profile:

• Curious: An early adopter of technology trends and Generative AI.
• Practical: Able to translate technological concepts into solutions that align with the business needs of the various Opcos and to document them.
• Flexible & Organized: You can switch between projects and follow through on what you start.
• Collaborator: You connect with people at all levels and across various roles.
• Communicator: A strong storyteller who can inspire both business and technical audiences.

Must-haves

• Minimum of 9 years of work experience in a related field (software development, architecture).
• You are aware of security and privacy guidelines in software development and Generative AI.
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages such as Rust, Go, C++, C, JavaScript, and others.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Cloudflare, GCP, Azure).
• You are up-to-date with the latest developments in Generative AI, including models like GPT, Gemini, and Claude.
• You have DevOps knowledge.
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge through workshops.
• You are a good storyteller for both a business and a technical audience at various (senior) levels.
• You are curious and able to continuously develop yourself in the field of new technologies.
• You are a strong communicator in English (Dutch is a plus).
• You must be a resident of the Netherlands.

• A salary between €5,300 and €7,000 gross per month (depending on seniority).
