This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Bol.com, Lufthansa, Inter Milan, Tikkie and Thuisbezorgd.

JOB PURPOSE

As a UI Designer with a focus on Design Ops & Brand, you help teams translate visual identities into consistent, high-quality digital experiences. You care about clarity, scalability and staying true to what makes a brand unique – across products, platforms and teams.

In this role, you’ll be part of one of our key client teams, working at the intersection of brand, product and design, where your contribution directly shapes how users experience the brand across digital touchpoints. You work closely with designers, developers and brand stakeholders to shape how visual standards are applied, documented and evolved. You review designs for brand alignment, contribute to guidelines and help bring structure to design processes – all while enabling others to create confidently within a shared visual language.

You don’t just keep things on track, you help move them forward. And you’ll do it all in a dynamic environment with some of the most talented (and fun) people the industry has to offer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bring visual brand guidelines to life across digital products and platforms
  • Review design work for brand alignment and help shape consistent visual output across teams
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of digital guidelines, libraries and documentation
  • Collaborate with designers, developers and brand stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and alignment
  • Create and refine UI assets and templates that make good design easier for others
  • Help establish visual standards and practices that scale across teams, tools and touchpoints
  • Bring inspiration, structure and clarity into design conversations – and support others in doing the same

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Relevant experience in UI or visual design, ideally in an agency, digital product or brand environment
  • A strong eye for visual detail, structure and consistency – and the ability to apply it across teams and touchpoints
  • A strong portfolio (website or PDF) demonstrating your experience and passion
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and turning them into usable assets, templates or design documentation
  • Proficiency in Figma and confidence working with design systems
  • Excellent communication skills: you can explain design decisions clearly, give constructive feedback and advocate for visual quality with confidence
  • You enjoy advising teams, sharing inspiration and helping others grow through clarity, not control
  • A collaborative mindset: you keep quality on track while supporting a shared design vision
  • Working proficiency in English
