About the role

As a member of the Retail Activation team, you will play a key role in supporting the Senior Retail Activation Manager in the definition and implementation of direct and indirect activity plans. By coordinating New Product Development (NPD) launches, managing a budget, maintaining Dyson’s retail estate, and executing engaging offline retail activations, you’ll help ensure best-in-class customer experiences and uphold Dyson principles and guidelines. You will also help evaluate market trends and share insights that inform the sales and marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, Execute & Evaluate Retail Activations: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of in-store campaigns, pop-ups, and consumer events in both direct and indirect channels. Ensure all activities reflect the retail strategy and contribute to Dyson’s premium brand experience.
  • NPD Launches & Campaigns: Collaborate with marketing, category managers, and account managers/merchandisers to deliver impactful NPD launches and ongoing campaigns in-store, making sure all product and brand guidelines are met.
  • Estate Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and visual standards of Dyson fixtures and store elements, ensuring the existing estate remains at Dyson’s standard of excellence.
  • Budget & ROI Management: Manage assigned budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution of activities and measuring the return on investment for all campaigns and projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Category Managers, Key Account Managers, Demo Store Managers, and field teams to align activity plans and optimize retail performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of retail activation efforts.
  • Special Projects & Best Practices: Lead special projects as assigned and serve as a role model in embodying Dyson’s values and behaviors.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitor GFK data and other market sources to track Dyson market share and competitor activity. Share market data, insights, and trends with Sales and Marketing teams to support strategic decisions.

About you

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in trade marketing, retail activation, marketing, or event management.
  • Strong planning, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing external agencies and suppliers.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, assertive, and results-driven attitude.
  • Excellent time management; ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of organization.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, both internationally and cross-functionally.
  • Excellent team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
