Coach agile teams in their development and facilitate agile processes. It is within reach with this full-time job as senior scrum master in Almere (Hybrid). We are IT within Athlon. Getting you there.

Your road to success

Left or right, you are the driving force behind two Scrum teams within Athlon. You facilitate Agile processes, remove impediments, and promote continuous improvement within the team. You work closely with product owners, development teams, stakeholders, and actively contribute to the broader SAFe transformation within our organization. You can do this as senior scrum master with full focus on:

  • guiding multiple scrum teams in effectively by applying agile and scrum methodologies.
  • facilitating scrum events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • serving as a mentor for less experienced scrum masters within the organization.
  • promoting self-organization, transparency, and collaboration within teams.
  • contributing to organization-wide agile maturity in collaboration with other scrum masters, agile coaches, and leadership.
  • supporting product owners in backlog management and maximizing value delivery.
  • monitoring team performance and drive continuous improvement using relevant metrics.

What do you take with you as senior scrum master for at least 38 of hours per week? Absolutely your engaged listening, collaboration orientation, and business oriented mindset. You also have the drive to help your team shine. In addition, you have:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a scrum master in a complex, dynamic environment.
  • proven ability to guide multiple teams simultaneously.
  • certification as scrum master (e.g., PSM II/III, CSM, or SAFe Scrum Master).
  • strong coaching and communication skills.
  • experience in IT/digital transformation projects (experience in the mobility, leasing, or automotive sector is a plus).
  • a professional proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

In addition to building an (international) career, as a senior scrum master based on 38 hours per week, you can count on a:

  • gross yearly salary up to € 87.518,- (including holiday allowance and 13th month).
  • employee budget of € 830,- gross per month. This is used, for example, mobility Policy, commuting km’s expenses, extra leave hours or monthly payment.
  • excellent pension scheme.
  • potential bonus up to 10% of your annual salary including holiday allowance and 13th month (the bonus is 100% based on Mercedes-Benz company results).
  • thirteenth month.
  • holiday allowance of 8% and at least 26 vacation days.
  • 12-month contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
  • an extended working from home package.
  • laptop and mobile phone.
  • vitality plan.
  • a relaxed working environment in a newly furnished office that is fully adapted to hybrid working. Our office is a place to connect and meet with a nice company restaurant, table tennis and table football competitions and sports facilities.
  • regular team or company drinks, often combined with a (sport) activity in advance.
