Wij zijn op zoek naar een Lead FPGA Engineer om het team in de regio Rotterdam te versterken.

Je werkt samen met gelijkgestemde professionals aan uitdagende projecten op het gebied van cybersecurity, motion control en high-performance dataverwerking. Dit is jouw kans om eigenaarschap te nemen, leiding te geven en jezelf continu te ontwikkelen in een rol waarin je de grenzen van technologie verlegt.
Main responsibilities
- Ontwikkelen en ontwerpen van FPGA-gebaseerde oplossingen voor hightech systemen en toepassingen
- Aansturen van multidisciplinaire teams en nauw samenwerken met elektronica- en software-ingenieurs
- Schrijven, simuleren en reviewen van VHDL-code met tools zoals CocoTB en Riviera-PRO
- Integreren en testen van FPGA-modules in samenwerking met andere subsystemen
- Toepassen van softwaremethodologieën voor een betrouwbaar en reproduceerbaar ontwikkelproces
- Initiatief nemen om ontwerpprocessen en werkwijzen te verbeteren
- Rapporteren van voortgang aan projectleiders en begeleiden van teamleden bij technische uitdagingen
- Deelnemen aan stand-ups en ontwerpbesprekingen, om afstemming tussen disciplines te waarborgen
Requirements
- Afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in Elektrotechniek, Computertechniek of Informatica
- 4–5 jaar ervaring met FPGA-/programmebare logica-ontwikkeling
- Sterke leiderschapsvaardigheden en ervaring met het aansturen van compacte technische teams
- Proactieve en oplossingsgerichte instelling met een passie voor innovatie
- Georganiseerd en nauwkeurig, met oog voor kwaliteit en structuur
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en teamspirit
- Bereidheid tot continue ontwikkeling en het volgen van technologische vernieuwingen
