What we expect from you

In order to be successful in this role you should recognize yourself in most of the following criteria:

  • A BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Maritime Engineering

  • Preferably, you were already involved in platform removal, jacket/topside lifting, or large-structure offshore handling — from engineering to execution

  • Strong affinity with engineering drawings, lift plans, procedures, and equipment design (e.g. lifting frames, seafastening structures)

  • Comfortable leading a small team of specialists and interfacing with fabrication yards, offshore crews, and subcontractors

  • Experience with engineering software such as Autodesk Inventor, ANSYS, Orcaflex, or SACS is a plus

  • Willingness to work offshore during critical project phases

  • A clear communicator who can bridge technical and operational discussions with ease

  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with a safety-first and results-oriented mindset
