Introduction to the job
You will lead, build, and support the SAP Application Development Competence and manage together with our Enterprise Service Providers the flex capacity and skill availability with our partners. As such, you have great responsibility and freedom in how you will approach and prioritize a wide range of activities to develop the SAP application development skills, methods, standards, and guidelines. You also work on bringing the demands into place for faster/smarter developments which are to be supported by one of the SAP Platform ART teams.
Here you collaborate closely with the Product Owners of the On Premise, BTP and Security & Authorizations team. You work closely with the ART teams and other IT ARTs in understanding the step ups they need. You facilitate in learning and knowledge sharing and build a highly engaged community of SAP application development professionals. You drive the roadmap of the SAP Application Development Competence and organize quarterly competence increments of which you align the outcomes with the Chief Product Owner of the SAP Platform ART.
Role and responsibilities
As SAP Technology Development Lead you'll maintain the roadmap to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements. You'll plan major changes in close consultation with other IT competences / IT teams and collect business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.
