VIE - Site Subcontract Administrator (m/f/d)

E&C has an important role to play to deliver the Group’s ambitious Environmental, Societal and Governance objectives, and be in a position to deliver projects arising from the energy transition.

For EPC projects executed by E&C, the Subcontract Team is responsible for the development, preparation and management of all contractual elements of construction contracts. Subcontract Team involvement is required during all phases of the project starting with the preparation of an ITB, bid clarification and comparison, contract award to a contractor, the Subcontracts administration during execution at construction site, until the final close-out of the Subcontracts.

As a VIE mission, we're looking for a Site Subcontract Administrator (m/f/d) at Site on a project of construction of a Green Hydrogen Electrolyzer among biggest capacity in Europe (250MW) in the Netherlands (Rotterdam) for 18 months.

Being part of the Subcontract team the Subcontract administrator shall provide support to the Subcontract manager to perform the following tasks with the target to handle part of the below activities autonomously during the course of the VIE.

Management of construction contracts during execution at site:

• Be the focal point of subcontractors for contractual and commercial matters
• Coordination with other departments Construction, Engineering, quality, planning, cost etc. to perform the following tasks
  • Analyze and approve Extra-works/ Change Order and Claims
  • Issue contractual communication with subcontractors (letters, Minute of Meeting..)
  • Coordinate quantities re-measurement
  • Review and validate monthly payment request from subcontractor

• Close out of Subcontract

Are you a MATCH?

• You have an Engineering background (Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar Masters)
• You are eager to get involved in the daily activities of our subcontracting team and have an eye for details
• This role requires strong communication skills to different internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with Microsoft office (Excel) or similar (Google Sheets)
• Fluency in English is mandatory, Dutch can be beneficial

The position is open only for candidates eligible to the VIE program. Therefore, only the applicants meeting the requirements of the French V.I.E program will be taken into consideration.

The V.I.E., an international young graduate program, enables young professionals who are less than 28 and European Union nationals to work for a French company in any country of the world. Becoming part of this program means going abroad to carry out a professional assignment for up to 24 months whilst benefiting from social care coverage and an interesting salary, which depends on the host country.
