Your role at Allseas

You will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers, providing financial guidance on Allseas’ largest capital projects. You are responsible for building business cases, monitoring project schedules, and delivering accurate reporting, forecasting and analysis. Your insights will drive strategic decisions and enhance the impact of our innovation projects.

You will be part of a collaborative Finance Business Partnering team of 12 professionals, reporting to the Team Lead in Delft. Your key stakeholders include the Innovations (R&D) and Technical Departments, as well as the Vice Presidents of Innovations and Operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Steer financial cycles (budget, forecast, actuals) on major CAPEX projects in close collaboration with project management;
  • Deliver actionable financial insights and support strategic decisions through well-founded business cases;
  • Define project structures, allocate budgets and manage cost control at project and budget owner level;
  • Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts;
  • Analyse and explain budget deviations;
  • Coordinate planning activities for complex investment projects;
  • Provide day-to-day financial and administrative support to project teams;
  • Identify and implement initiatives to improve cost and cash efficiency.

You bring:

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cost Controller, CAPEX Controller or in a similar finance role, preferably in large-scale or offshore projects;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience with SAP would be considered a strong asset. Experience or strong interest in data analysis, reporting, and visualization (Power BI is a plus);
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for short business trips.
