Your assignment

Your Activities:

  • Investigate dynamic surface tension curves of aqueous surfactant solutions, including the effects of cosolvents and salts.
  • Analyse contact angle behaviour in relation to surface tension.
  • Apply thermodynamic models to interpret experimental data and understand structure–performance relationships.
  • Collaborate with experienced researchers in a multidisciplinary R&D team.

You will join the Latex Ink R&D team at Canon Production Printing, working alongside experts in chemistry, materials science, and physics. Who you are:

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Needed:

  • Education: You are currently studying Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science at the Master's level.
  • Challenge: You enjoy the challenge of integrating experimental work with theory and modeling to uncover molecular insights.
  • Skills:
    • Laboratory experience, including handling surfactant solutions and conducting experiments.
    • Basic programming experience, which will be beneficial for modeling and data analysis.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Assignment Details:

  • Type: This is a Master's internship project.
  • Time Span: As of your availability, you are available for 6 months for a minimum of 5 days per week.
