What are you going to do?

One of the projects DEMCON is currently working on is a medical device used to apply medication to a patient. The device will use highly advanced concepts in order to supply the right dose of medicine at the right location within the body. This device also features a small OLED screen that will be used to communicate the status of the machine. The internship will primarily focus on the implementation of said OLED screen and the intern will be joining the development team of this project.

Assignment

The assignment will be to find a solution/create an implementation with which the OLED screen can be integrated into the existing framework. The screen will be controlled through CAN communication. As you will be a part of the development team for a medical device, this assignment is best suited to students who want to make an impact, as the code delivered as a result of this internship will most likely be used in the final product. This also means that the intern will have to adhere to several medical guidelines, and will be assigned a tutor that will help doing so.

What do you bring to the table?

Bachelor or Master student in the field of Computer Science, or similar studies

• Experience with programming (C++)
• Experience with version control (git)
