At NTS we make it possible together. Technology inspires and drives us—it is our passion. Every day we work on unique solutions and complex challenges for some of the world’s most influential companies. Whether the task is ultra-complex or ultra-precise, we are proud of what we do and what we deliver.

Do you want to discover what is possible together? Do you have a heart for technology, always spot commercial opportunities, and gain energy from industrialising groundbreaking high-tech systems? Then this is the challenge for you as an NPI Engineer at NTS Eindhoven. Let’s make it possible together!

Job description

As an NPI Engineer at NTS Eindhoven you industrialise customer designs into scalable, cost-efficient, first-time-right production processes in a low-volume, high-complexity environment. In a close-knit team of eight NPI Engineers you take ownership of the entire trajectory—from proof of principle to hand-over to production.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Industrialise customer designs by translating specifications into manufacturable, cost-efficient concepts and defining the full product and process flow;
  • Design the series-production process: layout, tooling, qualification strategies, ERP configurations, quality checks and work instructions;
  • Lead NPI projects (average duration 1.5–2.5 years) and report to the NPI Project Manager;
  • Safeguard cost, quality, delivery reliability and risk;
  • Facilitate process validation through Design/Process FMEA, SPC studies and 8D problem-solving to achieve a zero-defect introduction;
  • Coordinate with international suppliers on manufacturability, lead times and quality assurance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field.
  • Experience with NPI/industrialisation, preferably in a high-tech environment.
  • Knowledge of assembly and production processes, tooling and test equipment.
  • Experience with FMEA, SPC, 8D and statistical analysis methods.
  • Strong personality with persuasive power and a commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills in English at minimum; Dutch is a strong plus.

Your terms of employment

  • Salary € 4,000–€ 5,500 gross per month (depending on experience);
  • 27 vacation days plus 13 ADV days;
  • Excellent pension scheme with PME;
  • Travel allowance: fixed monthly reimbursement up to 50 km one way at € 0.21/km;
  • Personal growth and development opportunities (training/education);
  • Laptop and mobile phone;
  • Free fresh fruit at work.
