Procurement Internship: Fruit Preparations Buyer

You will be a valuable asset of the Global Procurement team, and will support senior buyers with day-to-day business, within the category of Fruit Preparations. We offer you a great opportunity to look into one of the essential resources of Danone, to collaborate in a multicultural environment and to be a key part of the implementation of sourcing strategies. You will be fully involved and have real responsibilities within business processes, supplier performance’s evaluation in the manufacturing facilities, tracking implementation of corporate contracts, and generating and supporting productivity and optimization projects.

Project Management

• Lead several projects across EU (Productivity etc.).
• Drive continuous improvements/business opportunities for Fruit Prep business.
• Operational support - Management of EU projects with stakeholders (Quality, R&I, Procurement, etc.). - Interface role between various stakeholders: facilitator, project management, prioritization, arbitration.

Strategy

• Support in the implementation of the European strategy and tender. Working closely with all the countries/teams involved - Raising awareness and motivating the various stakeholders.

Data Analytics & Visualization

• Support in developing new tools & dashboards.

Market Intelligence:

• Support buyers on understanding the business needs of Danone.

About you

• You are a Master’s/Bachelor’s student in Business, Procurement, Economics, or Supply Chain.
• Excellent with Microsoft Office (Power point & Excel).
• Strong analytical skills.
• You can take on the management of a project, and have excellent interpersonal skills
• You are highly motivated, proactive, autonomous, & strong communication skills.
• You are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment that continuously challenges you.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment

Key requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
• Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
• For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
• Available to start in September 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written);
• Able to work from our Hoofddorp office.
