We are looking for dynamic and committed professionals to join us as a Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS Solution Architect – Manager to drive business transformations using Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Solutions (WMS) and the broad range of ecosystem partners. As an expert in Supply Chain Execution and Fulfillment, you will have the opportunity to design and implement solutions for Warehouse Management, Warehouse Labor Management, and integrated Supply Chain Execution that improve cost efficiency, enhance business effectiveness, and create synergies and collaboration between organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated supply chain execution, warehouse management, and warehouse labor management solutions to achieve specific business outcomes, working with interfaces, workflows, and data management/data migration.
  • Collaborate with the Delivery Lead and other team members on business development, such as sizing and estimating new opportunities, creating proposals, conducting client reviews, and planning engagements.
  • Act as the lead planner/architect for supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems within the area of responsibility, requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Independently lead a team to facilitate maturity assessments/gap analyses, solution assessment workshops, requirements gathering, design, and end-to-end implementation activities.
  • Develop integrated supply chain execution and warehouse management solutions to achieve defined business outcomes, working with interfaces, workflows, conveyor/automation solutions (like KNAPP), carrier management solutions (like Parcel, Centiro, etc.), and data management/data migration.
  • Interact with senior management at the client and within Accenture to gain buy-in for the solution approach, architecture, and design.
  • Validate business requirements and conduct solution architecture and design workshops, including documenting functional and integration design, gap analysis, and solution options.
  • Ensure delivery architecture, capabilities, and operations are consistent across the enterprise and meet requirements.
  • Lead the team in configuring the system to support business requirements, design, and configuration.
  • Support the team in conducting integration testing, user acceptance testing, and end-to-end regression testing.
  • Guide the work of junior resources and support the team in establishing standard supply chain execution practices within the enterprise.
  • Provide best practices and advise the team on integrating Blue Yonder/JDA WMS, WLM with client ERP systems for both inbound and outbound interfaces, warehouse operations, peripheral solutions, and develop detailed technical specifications.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in determining approaches to new assignments.
  • Support the growth of the Blue Yonder IPS practice and capability-building initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum of 12 years of professional experience). If an Associate’s degree, must have an equivalent minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in architecture, design, and implementation of Blue Yonder/JDA WMS and WLM solutions in retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading medium to large projects.

Key Professional Skills

  • Experience in the full lifecycle implementation of Blue Yonder/JDA WMS, WLM — business process design, solution blueprint, system design, build, test, deployment, and business stabilization/hyper care.
  • Experience integrating Blue Yonder/JDA WMS and WLM solutions with other downstream execution/planning applications such as ERP/Host, TMS, parcel systems, and third-party systems that integrate with WMS.
  • Knowledge of integrating WMS with voice/material handling/SASRS systems.
  • Experience leading a business team in developing and/or redesigning complex application scenarios.
  • Experience implementing innovative solutions in areas such as warehouse management and operations, distribution network design, warehouse tracking and labeling, and managing 3PL providers to enhance overall enterprise fulfillment.
  • Experience leading solution architecture and technical design for inbound/outbound processes.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in German and English, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.

Desirable Professional Qualifications

  • Experience with other leading warehouse management solutions such as Manhattan, Körber, Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • Experience implementing or familiarity with supply chain/retail applications like OMS, TMS.
  • Work in Retail/CPG, eCommerce sectors.
  • Experience across more than one industry domain.
  • Understanding of database structures. Familiarity with various functional platforms and infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL queries, procedures, ETL (Oracle/SQL).
  • Experience with multi-tier architecture and system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure/GCP application support/deployment.
  • Basics of machine learning, statistics, and probability.
  • Professional training/certifications in KANBAN, Agile methodology, Business Process Reengineering (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking) would be a great plus.
