Your Role: As the Manager Data Team, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to accelerate the drug discovery pipeline for our customers. Your expertise in bioinformatics will be crucial as you lead the organization, integration, and analysis of complex biological and clinical datasets. You will develop and enhance a computational platform that supports the discovery of new medicines and the characterization of our Organoid biobank. Your hands-on approach to executing data projects will be complemented by your coaching responsibilities for a talented team of data scientists. You will ensure the integrity, accessibility, and security of data that drives our research innovation. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will tackle a diverse array of biological datasets to uncover novel healthcare insights. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic scale-up environment where your contributions will significantly impact our customers and the organization. Your work will help maintain the high-quality standards that HUB Organoids is known for, making a positive difference in the lives of millions.

Who You Are:

• You hold a PhD in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computational Biology, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• You have at least 6 years of experience in data science or bioinformatics, with a minimum of 2 years in an industrial setting (CRO experience is a strong plus).
• You possess proven experience in data management, database administration, or bioinformatics within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
• You have demonstrated leadership experience, ideally in managing a team.
• You thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment and can deliver quality results within time and budget constraints.
• You are proficient in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data manipulation.
• You have experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
• You are familiar with cloud-based data platforms and ELN/LIMS systems, with a strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance standards in the biotech industry.
