This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Group Finance

At Adyen, we don’t just track costs - we help teams understand what their investments unlock and how to build momentum from them.

We’re looking for an FP&A Analyst to support the teams that make our global operations run: from Marketing and HR to Real Estate, and Infrastructure. This role sits at the center of the company, helping teams understand how their decisions shape outcomes. Not just financially, but operationally.

You’ll help build a clear view of where we are investing, why, and what it returns. Supporting better decision-making, better trade-offs, and more impactful execution.

What you will do

  • Partner with key enabler teams to help them understand the impact of their decisions and ensure we make the right trade-offs
  • Provide structure and insights into areas like headcount planning, tooling, infrastructure, and marketing spend
  • Build and maintain models that connect operational activity to financial outcomes like cash flow, ROI, and capacity planning
  • Help teams sharpen their plans by asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, and uncovering what really drives impact
  • Interpret and link financial statements, understanding how operational performance flows through to financial position and liquidity
  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable insights to both finance and non-finance teams

Who you are

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or a similar role focused on planning and decision-making
  • You are comfortable working with financial statements and understand how short-term choices affect results
  • You don’t wait for questions; you spot the problem, bring the right people together, and move things forward
  • You’re not afraid to challenge, and you know how to do it in a way that builds trust
  • You’re confident working with data, and experience with tools like Looker or Pigment is a plus

Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments

Our unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity of backgrounds and cultures is essential in helping us maintain our momentum. Our business and technical challenges are unique, and we need as many different voices as possible to join us in solving them - voices like yours. No matter who you are or where you’re from, we welcome you to be your true self at Adyen.

Studies show that women and members of underrepresented communities apply for jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. Does this sound like you? If so, Adyen encourages you to reconsider and apply. We look forward to your application!

This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.

The way we work is guided by the eight principles of the Adyen Formula.

To build the world's most customer-focused financial technology platform, we need as many different perspectives as possible. We’re looking for people from all sorts of backgrounds to contribute.

We took an unobvious approach to starting a payments company, building a platform from scratch. Today, we're the payments platform of choice for the world's brightest companies. Our unobvious approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity, of backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives, is essential in helping us maintain our momentum.
