PLC Engineer

Join Our Team as a PLC Engineer

The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a PLC Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Utrecht. As a PLC Engineer, you will work on challenging automation projects within various high-tech industries. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing PLC solutions.

Your responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and test PLC software (Siemens, Beckhoff, Allan Bradley etc.)
• Collaborate with system engineers, mechanical and electrical teams to integrate automation into vehicle platforms.
• Support both R&D and serial production environments.
• Optimize logic, ensure reliability, and assist with troubleshooting during testing and commissioning phases.
• Contribute to projects involving autonomous driving functions, energy management, and control systems.

Your profile :

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff, Allan Bradley, structured text, etc.)
• Experience with mobile systems, industrial machinery, or vehicle automation is a big plus.
• A proactive mindset and passion for high-tech engineering.
• Proficiency in Dutch or English.
