To support our continued growth and operational excellence, we are looking for a hands-on and inspiring Team Leader Special Processes to join our Landing Gear facility.

The Role

As Team Leader Special Processes, you will be responsible for leading a team that performs key surface treatments such as chrome plating, nickel plating, vapour degreasing, anodizing, etching, passivation, and more. These processes are essential to both new production programs and MRO activities, making your role critical to product integrity, airworthiness, and customer satisfaction.

You will manage daily operations, ensure compliance with strict aerospace standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of operators and technicians within the Special Processes department.
  • Ensure safe execution of all chemical and electrochemical treatments in accordance with internal procedures and aerospace standards (e.g., NADCAP).
  • Drive production output to meet delivery schedules for both new manufacturing and MRO work scopes.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and special process qualifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Production Support.
  • Promote and implement 5S, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training, monitor performance, and develop capabilities within your team.
