You will be a true solution provider and partner for your business stakeholders in the business domain, and product organization. Together with these departments, you will be instrumental in improving our systems, and internal digital tools and builds serving other departments.

You will work closely with your stakeholders to understand, clarify and document the various levels of requirements, business processes, and viable technology solutions.

You will guide your stakeholders through the Tech processes and help them navigate through the Tech ways of working.

You will bring the best solutions to the business requirements. For given business requirements you will determine multiple technical design alternatives, assessing these alternatives based on identified constraints (e.g. end-user experience, cost, schedule, usability, reliability, maintainability, availability, security, etc), and help to select the most suitable options for implementation in line with our technology architecture and strategic directions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a Digital Channels team that is delivering per backlog and service capabilities
  • Gather information from stakeholders to formulate and document objectives, identifying clear deliverables, and success KPIs as well as support elements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, our suppliers, and partners to identify and design the most viable solutions.
  • Validate the requirements and solution alternatives with the Tech roadmap, target architecture, and tech strategic framework.
  • Recognize the demand to include architecture, security, and other specialists and deep technical expertise
  • Define and create solution documentation such as solution architecture, business analysis or functional specification documents, or other architectural/functional and non-functional documents if the project requires
  • Provide guidance to the implementation teams on the selected solution, requirements, and expected business value.
  • Invest in keeping up to date with the technology streams relevant to your domain and, where applicable, drive the execution of proof of concepts for new technologies.
  • Communicate back to the stakeholders any relevant cross-department information to ensure smooth collaboration and partnering.
  • Together with team and business stakeholders, create CoE and technical roadmaps, brps, and sprint backlogs.
  • Continually ensure the processes being used are documented and fit for purpose.

Qualifications / skills

  • University degree in Information Technology or a similar discipline (or equivalent work experience)
  • Relevant working experience in a related field and roles like solution architect or technical lead on projects
  • Relevant working experience in the domain of digital enterprise applications related to company-wide systems used in business domain, commerce and product organization
  • Experience in working with teams that are focused on cloud technology and automation
  • Experience in solutionizing and answering with HOW on business WHAT
  • Experience in defining functional aspects of the digital deliverables
  • Experience in collaborating with technical specialists and architects for the design and implementation of technology solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise processes in areas of commerce, marketing and business domain
  • Familiarity with application integration methods and tools or other technical skills is a plus
  • Exposure to the agile ways of working is a plus
  • Exposure to projects involving proper CI/CD and incremental development is a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of the hospitality industry are a plus
  • Fluent in English

Location, hours, contract duration

This role is based in our Voorschoten Support Office. Hybrid working, twice a week on average in the office. No fully remote. Start date = September 2025, four to six months contract (maternity leave substitution).
