FrieslandCampina has a strong position in dairy processing with the use of membrane systems. In the Global Process Technology team within R&D, we bring membrane technology from theory to practice. To strengthen our separation technology cluster, we are looking for a person who helps us in optimizing existing processes and developing innovations for our next generation production processes. Are you a research engineer with affinity for research and development? Then join us as a Research Engineer – Membrane Process Technology within the Department of Global Process Technology in Wageningen.
As a Research Engineer – Membrane Process Technology, you work on the development of the next generation of separation processes, in particular membrane filtration processes, the optimization of our current membrane units, and on tailoring membrane processes for the development of new products. You set up and coordinate experiments on laboratory or pilot-plant scale in Wageningen, or design plant trials to be executed in one of our factories in the Netherlands directly. You analyze results, perform statistical analyses where required, and disseminate the results through presentations, reports and in dialogue with engineers. For small projects, you take the lead in the organization and communication with the internal client and stakeholders.
You contribute to setting up and maintaining good contact with external partners such as academic partners and suppliers. Together with your colleagues, you help us with executing our strategies in sustainability and digitalization, thereby ensuring that we are leading with technology. As process development engineer, you will work together with colleagues with diverse backgrounds from, amongst others, the other Process Technology clusters, Product Development Teams and Supply Chain. You report to the Cluster Manager Separation and Purification Technology.

We value talented people from any background who want to contribute to something bigger than themselves. We encourage all of our employees to make decisions that benefit our entire company. At FrieslandCampina we own our own career and act accordingly. We trust you to make a difference in your job and influence the bigger picture.
