You & your role

Design and develop scalable data solutions that make our insurance processes smarter and more efficient. As a Data Engineer, you work with modern technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks in an environment where collaboration and innovation are key. You will contribute to a future-proof data landscape within a leading financial institution.

• You build an automated data pipeline that makes customer data available for reporting securely and efficient.
• You develop a solution to replicate data from our insurance back office to a SQL database.

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Spark.
• Automate the extraction of data from the Level system to operational systems, data lakes and reporting.

You & your talent

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer in a complex IT environment, preferably within the financial or insurance sector.
• You are skilled in writing efficient and scalable SQL queries and have demonstrable experience with Python and Java.
• You have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory and Databricks, and know how to use these to build robust data pipelines.
• You work in a structured manner and have a good understanding of data modelling and data management best practices.
• You are a team player who communicates effectively with colleagues from different disciplines and chain partners.
• You think in solutions, take initiative and actively contribute to improving processes and systems.
• Fluent in English & Dutch, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Level system of supplier CCS is preferable.
