ISS (Infrastructure Security Services) is a critical component of Capgemini's Group IT function, which supports and partners with the business to enable efficiency and profitability. ISS integrates various security services, including Contextual Access (SWG, CASB, ZTNA), Identity and Access Management (IGA, AM and PAM), Micro Segmentation, SIEM, SOAR and Endpoint Security, to ensure a secure and resilient IT environment, which operates in line with Capgemini’s Zero Trust framework.

The opportunity

We are seeking a Python Developer to join our IGA (Identity Governance and Administration) team as an Airflow Engineer. This role focuses on building and maintaining Apache Airflow workflows that automate the collection and synchronization of identity, account, and entitlement data across various applications and systems.

You will play a key role in ensuring secure, accurate, and efficient data flows between upstream and downstream systems, supporting the organization’s identity lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate identity data collection and synchronization.
  • Design and implement Airflow DAGs to orchestrate data pipelines across systems.
  • Write and optimize (PL)SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Collaborate with security, application, and infrastructure teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and integration logic.

Our ideal candidate

  • Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language.
  • Experience with (PL)SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Strong data engineering mindset with an understanding of data pipelines and automation.
  • Awareness of security principles and best practices in data handling and identity management.
  • Familiarity with Apache Airflow (experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in identity governance or IAM systems.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, data integration, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Exposure to Automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
